This supposedly is a classic album. I don't know since this is the first record I have and hear from the U.K.Subs. I must admit that when I first heard it I thought it was crap. But after a few times listening to it, the album grew on me. Now I like it. I don't have much 70'ies punk in my collection, but I more than welcome this record. It's a live record but that doesn't change a thing for me. This was recorded in the famous Roxy club in 1977 and through this performance the U.K.Subs got a contract with a major label. This was originally released on the Stiff Records label as "Live Kicks" and is now reissued. The sound quality of this 12 track live album is good and I think a lot of people will be glad this is available again. In 1997 they reunited and are still going on with their punk music. I will dig up some more stuff of them cause this record made me curious about their other releases. (AR)
